Welcome to the Bergen County Academies
The Bergen County Academies (BCA), is a free public career technical high school of choice for Bergen County residents located on the Dr. John Grieco Campus in Hackensack, New Jersey. The school offers seven specialized programs in the areas of mathematics and science, engineering and design, medical science, business and finance, culinary arts and hospitality administration, visual and performing arts, and technology and computer science.

Dear BCA Students and Families,
On behalf of our administration, faculty, and staff of the Bergen County Academies, I welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year. As always, we are committed to assisting students in becoming lifelong learners. The Bergen County Academies has a rich history, a caring community, and a spirit of innovation that permeates our campus. We are proud to provide amazing opportunities through rigorous academics, career and technical education, on-campus research, global experiences, the arts, as well as a vast number of extracurricular activities and athletics. I encourage all students to take advantage of the opportunities we provide.

Eliana Liporace, a senior at the Bergen County Academies, has been named a Semifinalist for the 2023 class of the Coca-Cola Scholars Program. 1,557 high school seniors were selected as Semifinalists from a pool of over 91,000

Pooja Rayapaneni, 17, Samiya Pathak, 17, and Jisae Son, 16, all attend Bergen County Academies, a career technical high school in Hackensack.
The three recently talked to the USA TODAY Network about their concerns about the current climate change crisis. Rayapaneni resides in Paramus, Pathak in Waldwick, and Son in Old Tappan.
